About Me

I’ve been an outdoorsman my whole life. I grew up in a family that spent all of our free time hiking, camping and just generally being outside. that led me to an education and career in ecology. My goal is and always will be protecting and preserving our natural world for future generations and teaching others to do the same.

I’ve been working in non-profit ecology and ecological based horticulture for close to a decade focused on preserving New-England flora and fauna. I’ve worked on everything from meadow management and forestry, to sustainable equipment operations and invasive species mitigation.

I’m currently the Natural Areas Manager at The Norcross Wildlife Foundation in where we manage 9,000+ acres in south central Massachusetts. I also serve as the Vice-Chair of the Native Plant Community for the American Public Gardens Association, as well as the Editorial Advisory Group of the Ecological Landscape Alliance.
